Critical Communities

For this project I created an iniciative that focused on reviving heritage latinx craft, teaming up with organisations like Latin Elephant, CLAUK or UK Latin Community and a veriety of markets across London to create spaces where communities can both actively and passively foster culture and pass down traditions.

Experiential Narratives

For this project we were tasked with collaborating with Selfrifges or The Face Magazine to create an experience for a community of out choice.

The community I developed my project around was the Queer Gen-Z Spanish-speaking community in London, conducting interviews to find out what spaces they gathered in the most and what they felt was missing in these spaces.

As my outcome I developed a club event proposal (partering with Selfridges to have acess to a physycal space).

As mentioned previously, this space would be catered to the Queer Spanish-speaking comunity in London but open to anyone who shares the same interests and values.

This space would give people an opportunity to meet eachother and showcase upcoming artists from said community, with a space for DJ’s, fashion exhibitions and fine art exhibitions.

As additional outcomes I developed advertisments to be featured on  and the Selfridges website and on Instagram, as it is the social media platform that my community most uses, along with a playlist of songs for the club event featuring artists that (according to my interviews) my chosen community looked up to or felt represented them well.

CSM Foundation: Final Project

This project was a love letter to the poems in ‘Romancero Gitano’ by Federico García Lorca, a Spanish poet that was assassinated by the Nationalist forces during the Spanish Civil War and Franco’s dictatorship for leftist ideas and themes in his work.

In this project I recreate three poems that carry themes of marginalised characters, hearthbreak and death, and religious oppression through fashion design and photography, all produced by me and modelled by close friends in Spain.

- Romance De La Luna, Luna
- Romance Sonámbulo
- La Monja Gitana
